For those of you having problems of not having OPEN VPN run with your freedom software, below are ways you can set up open vpn on you system with windows 7 or vista.
Right click on your freedom shortcut, select properties. From the tab that would be displayed, look for and click on compatibility. Move down a little bit, you will see, "run this program in compatibility mode for" Tick the box, then pull down the menu and select Windows Vista.
Move down a little bit, also tick the box where you have Run this program as administrator.
Click on Apply, click on ok.
Next, before installing your OPEN VPN. Right click on the main program itself (that is the open vpn.exe file you downloaded).
DOWNLOAD OPEN VPN
Select properties, click on compatibility, check the box, pull down the menu below it and select Windows Vista.
Move down a little bit, also tick the box where you have Run this program as administrator.
click on apply, click on OK.
Finally, after installing the open vpn to your system. Right click on the Open vpn shortcut icon on your desktop.
Select properties, click on compatibility, check the box, pull down the menu below it and select Windows Vista.
Move down a little bit, also tick the box where you have Run this program as administrator.
Click on apply, click on OK.
With the above done, you are now free to enjoy open vpn with your freedom on your Windows 7 or Windows Vista.
