Airtel decided by error of omission or comission to go porous lately and all we can do is nothing but exploit them for the moment and rock free UNLIMITED browsing with Tunnelguru.
The porosity nature of airtel network at the moment has seen almost all protocols HTTP, DNS, UDP, ICMP etc connect with Airtel for Free.
Earlier on, I posted HTTPS connections with Airtel on TunnelGuru but at the moment it does not work for everyone. However, the VPN protocols of UDP and ICMP still connect so the settings coming shortly
will effectively get you connected with VPN Tunnel of Tunnelguru on UDP and ICMP protocols respectively.
To get started enjoying Airtel Free browsing with Tunnelguru on UDP and ICMP protocols, here are the things you need to do.
Create a New profile connection on your system through your modem dashboard with internet.ng.zain.com as the Access Point Name (APN)
Download TunnelGuru VPN client from HERE
If this is the first time you are running Tunnelguru on your system, you need to Download and install JAVA Runtime on the said system. Download JAVA RUNTIME from HERE
Signup for a Free Tunnelguru Account if this your first time of using Tunnelguru. Signup HERE
Unzip the Tunnelguru Client to a suitable location on your system, preferably your desktop.
Launch the Tunnelguru client and configure it as follows.
SERVER: Choose any server location
RPORT: 53
LPORT: 0
USER: Tunnelguru Username
PASSWORD: Tunnelguru Password
PROTOCOL: UDP
Make sure you Untick/Uncheck the DNS Tunnel Query.
Leave every other thing the way they are.
Now connect your modem and after that click on START.
If the UDP settings above fails to get you connected, use the ICMP settings below.
SERVER: Choose any server location
USER: Tunnelguru Username
PASSWORD: Tunnelguru Password
PROTOCOL: ICMP
MODE: MODE-2- FASTER or try out other modes for better connection speed.
Make sure you Untick/Uncheck the DNS Tunnel Query.
Leave every other thing the way they were.
Now connect your modem and after that click on START.
To enjoy UNLIMITED Free Browsing, Streaming and Downloading with Tunnelguru on Airtel you need to UPGRADE your free Tunnelguru account to PREMIUM.To Upgrade your Tunnelguru Account Click HERE
